ABOUT ME

In 2002, Michael landed his very first assignment – photographing the legendary Richie Havens at the Clearwater Festival – and his passion for live music photography was born.

 

Over the past two decades, Michael has photographed artists the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Foo Fighters, Interpol, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Metallica, Nick Cave, Nine Inch Nails, Patti Smith, Pearl Jam, Rage Against The Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The National, The Smashing Pumpkins, Tool, U2 and Weezer, amongst many others.

 

Whether it be an indie band performing at an underground nightclub, or a top-touring act playing to a stadium filled with more than 65,000 fans, Michael Dinger Photography's unique brand of concert photography, known as PIT PERSPECTIVES, is sure to be there to document the spectacle in pictures and words. When he is not capturing the images of beloved rockstars, Michael can usually be found running or mountain biking along the trails of the Hudson River Valley.
